VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Vegan Festival is seeking motivated volunteers to assist with the 2008 Vegan Festival.
Vegan Festival is aimed to educate on veganism and promote compassionate and healthy life style. It is an event where South Australians, including thinkers, artists and activists can discuss a variety of issues, catch up and exchange experience. In 2008, Vegan Festival is taking place for the second time, this time on a much bigger scale and we do need your support.

Vegan Festival recognizes the valuable contribution of volunteers to the organisation is committed to working with and supporting these valuable individuals within the health/environment sector.

Volunteering for the Festival not only provides vital support for the Festival, but provides great benefits for the volunteers, too! Not only is it great fun and worthwhile, you can gain an amazing insight into the Festival program and get to know the staff that work so hard to bring it all together. You may make new friends here as well. As a volunteer you can also mention your support in the event in your CV.

When you volunteer you bring valuable skills to the organisation. We also hope that you will learn new ones. Volunteers contribute in many ways including wo/manning and staffing information booths, distributing festival promotional materials, office mail-outs, marshalling at the Festival, providing technical support, working with children, just to mention a few.

Thank You Gift – Each person who volunteers at the Vegan Festival for at least 4 hours will be provided with lunch.
